If you need an Uber ride, you need to be able to afford that. That’s all you need with a regular chic who is not asking for hook-up money or an expensive wig or a phone or any item she needs before doing anything intimate with you. In fact that $400 is a lot. That is your monthly income in Nairobi if you are a young man starting life. I will put it at $100 for you. A date will cost you around $15, and an Uber will cost you $8 at most, which is just $23, so I will say in Nairobi you need at least $50 a month for dates if you want to date. That is very fair.
You will also have to spend on yourself, your $3 hair cut, shoes and clothes which you can just buy once in 8 months. If you cut your hair twice a month, it is a total of $6 at most.
It is only that unless you are dealing with a gold digger or sugar baby or a high maintenance girlfriend who wants expensive trips to Diani or Naivasha before deciding whether she will have a thing with you.
Let’s assume you are a sponsor running a provider type of game. You engage in conspicuous consumption with women and use a flashy lifestyle of champagne and seafood to attract them and keep them. Well, if you are to keep a woman in Nairobi, paying her bills, hair, nails, and all types of things. In such a case you might need that $400. Hair is around $100 per month, rent should be $150, then nails and food at $150. It might be more than that if you travel with her and shop around for things. She will cost you around $500 on the minimum if she is a standard sugar baby.
My friends those are the economics of dating in Nairobi if you ask me. If a gal is very hot and in high demand and you decide to keep her, it will be very costly at times. My friend had a gal who broke up with him to go for a sponsor willing to give her $1500 stipend per month for her maintenance and upkeep. My friend was equally rich and able to give her that but he didn’t want to run that type of game. If you ask me, for a regular gal you are married to or dating long-term and living with whom you have one kid with, you will need that $1500 to be comfortable.
